MikroTik Smart Fiber-to-Copper Converter

MikroTik Fiber to Copper Converter (FTC11XG) is a 10GE - SFP+ (10 Gb/s) fiber optic converter in an IP55 external housing. It converts a fiber optic signal into transmission via an Ethernet cable.

Unlike many other converters available on the market, the device is equipped with a waterproof housing adapted for outdoor use. It has 1x SFP+ slot (10 Gb/s), 1x Gigabit Ethernet port (10/100/1000 Mb/s), and 1x 10G Gigabit Ethernet port (10 Gb/s). Using two devices of this type and appropriate inserts, you can create a fiber optic connection with a bandwidth of 10 Gb/s.

The FTC11XG media converter offers low power consumption (9-10 W) and two power supply methods: a standard DC socket or a PoE input located on the 1G Ethernet port. The PoE input voltage range is 43 - 57 V DC. The device supports passive PoE or the 802.3af/at/bt standard. The set includes a PoE injector, a 48 V 0.95 A power supply, and a kit for mounting the device on the ceiling.

The FTC11XG runs the full version of SwOS Lite and has its own switching chip, allowing you to perform many tasks you would never expect from a regular media converter.
